FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO THE LABELS ON YOUR PRODUCTS MEAN?

It is a requirement that all our candles and melts have CLP compliant labels.  CLP stands for Classification, Labeling and Packaging regulation of substances and mixtures.  We work with our suppliers to ensure each fragrance oil we use has a specific label which includes the correct information.  We also have Safety Data Sheets for every fragrance in accordance with regulations.

WHAT IS CANDLE SAFETY?

Safety is a priority for Mi Mi Botanics. We provide a care card with every order which we ask you to follow and in addition to the CLP labels, we ensure candles also have product safety labels compliant with standards.  Please ensure you follow these:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Burn candles out of reach of children and pets

  • Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles 

  • Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.

  • In addition to this, we strongly advise that you never move or pick up a lit candle, the glass can sometimes become hot!

HOW DO YOU TEST THE CANDLES?

This is candle science! We test by making and burning our candles till we find the best combination of temperatures to heat to, add fragrance and pour, we then start the hard part, testing which wicks work best for each fragrance. There is lots of testing, monitoring and we record the outcomes for all scents!

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept debit cards. We will be expanding this soon.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY? WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED DURING DELIVERY?

Please get in touch if you need any support or want to discuss a return or exchange via our contact us link.  We accept returns and exchange within 14 days of purchase. Your order must be in the original packaging and unused. 
We also realise that despite our best efforts to use quality packaging to ensure your delivery arrives safely in the best condition, that sometimes damage occurs during the delivery process.  Please contact us immediately with a photo of the damage, and your order number and we will try and resolve as quickly as possible.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

We don't offer gift cards yet but we are planning to launch them before Easter 2021.

MY CANDLE IS UNEVEN/CRACKING, IS THIS NORMAL?

This is totally normal! Our wax is a natural vegan wax and it is common that is can slightly crack on the surface due to its unique eco-friendly blend. This will disappear once you light your candle.
